After six months of construction work, Camperplaats Leeuwarden at De Zwemmer 3 in Leeuwarden is now open again. The site has been considerably expanded: there is now room for 18 Campers (previously 12) on larger sites among more greenery. In addition, the offer for the guests has also been expanded.
Camperplaats Leeuwarden is located in the water-rich neighbourhood Zuiderburen.
The RV park is right next to a marina: this makes it a wonderful place to spend the night with a camper or with a boat.
More pitches near the water
In order to offer guests an even better experience, it was decided to remodel the RV park. The renovation started on September 1st 2020. The main reason for the renovation was the need for more pitches near the water.
Another important goal was to make the RV park greener. More plants have now been planted around the RV pitches and the pitches facing the water are covered with grass. Due to the current weather conditions, the green areas will be completed in March.
Rent an electric scooter or boat
Camperplaats Leeuwarden has not only extended the pitches and the and the green area, but also an enlarged offer in general. Besides camping, it is now also possible to rent a boat or an electric scooter. Furthermore, there are fixed – and free – moorings for rent.
